At FANGO, we chose to focus on mineral sun care because it aligns with our philosophy of creating simple, thoughtfully crafted products inspired by life in the Caribbean.

Our formulas are made with non-nano zinc oxide as the active ingredient, a mineral UV filter that has been widely used in sun care products for decades. Zinc oxide is valued for its broad-spectrum UV protection capabilities and is commonly chosen by individuals who prefer mineral-based alternatives.

Beyond sun protection, we believe the overall experience of a sunscreen matters. That is why FANGO combines non-nano zinc oxide with a carefully selected blend of ingredients including coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, and raspberry seed oil to create formulas designed for everyday outdoor living.

Living in Puerto Rico has also shaped our perspective.
